WireGuard, 3x-ui or Marzban: which one?
WireGuard is the simplest: it runs in the Linux kernel, uses almost no memory and has clients for every platform. 3x-ui and Marzban are Xray web panels with VLESS, VMess and Trojan: they make it easy to add users and hand out keys. Outline gives access keys through its own app.
How many resources does a VPN need?
For yourself on 1–3 devices, 1 vCPU, 1 GB RAM, 10 GB NVMe ($2.85 a month) is enough: WireGuard and Outline in the library need at least 1 vCPU, 1 GB, 10 GB. For 3x-ui with about ten devices, take “VPN for the family”: 1 vCPU, 2 GB RAM, 10 GB NVMe for $2.89.
How do I install a VPN on the server?
Pick the script at the “Add-ons” step of the order and it is installed together with the system. On a running server, use “Server settings → Scripts” in the bot.
What does a Remnawave panel need?
The official minimum for the Remnawave panel is 2 cores, 2 GB and 20 GB: that is the “Remnawave panel” step (2 vCPU, 2 GB RAM, 20 GB NVMe, $5.16 a month). Nodes go on separate servers and need at least 1 core and 1 GB.
Can I run an AmneziaWG server?
Yes. The easiest way is 3x-ui: AmneziaWG is built into the panel and runs without a kernel module or DKMS — install 3x-ui from the library and add an AmneziaWG inbound. You can also install it with the AmneziaVPN app over SSH (it needs KVM virtualization, and all our VPS run on KVM) or by hand. Clients connect with the AmneziaWG and AmneziaVPN apps.
